Jim and Delores Murray have been in the motorhome manufacturing business for over 35 years, helped by their sons Lauren, Lyn, Lowell, and Lelland.

Our company was the first to introduce diesel powered motorhomes to America. We built them upon Merecedes-Benz diesel bus chassis. Our first production model was introduced at the Family Motor Coach Association rally at DuQuoin, Illinois in the early 1970s. Another first for Motoroam was to develop the "basement" storage compartment system that is so popular in all motorhomes built today. Motoroam specializes in custom building and conversions.
